First of all, using the new 3D Sound technology, your dog can locate the signal more easily even over long distances and come in an instant if you train him to do so. Imagine the example of using triangulation for tracking your phone(even though that’s more complex). By using a altered stereo signal that spreads out in different but similar directions and tracks back to a single source, your dog can use his ears to track the signal back to you without getting confused.

Second of all, the other dog whistles use a stock frequency that can’t work for all dogs. Every dog is different and choosing the right frequency is important for a proper training. This app has an adjustable frequency slider that can be in the range of 7500 kHz - 22500 kHz(Beyond human hearing) so you can find what works best for your dog!

Important Note:

Not all frequencies may work with your phone/tablet. Some devices may render artifacts at some high pitched frequencies due to the phone software/manufacturer and/or the device’s build in speakers. A safe way to go is around 15000 kHz because most devices can render that and is high pitched enough for your dog. A Nexus 7 for example may start to choke beyond 16000 kHz, while a ZTE phone may go up to 18000 kHz. If you can’t hear the signal it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work because signals above 16000 kHz are usually beyond human hearing. Check and see what works best for you.
