CoRoom is worlds only open source voice controlled smart home system which uses Cortana, Arduino and which is completly DIY.

By downloading this app and following the Instructions online on how to make the hardware you can control your lights and electronics with your voice!

CoRoom has multiple features:
-Control 3 Lights with your voice.
-Control 2 gadgets with your voice (example: a TV).
-Control 1 RGB LED strip in multiple colors and effects.
-The application can be triggerd from the background so it blends into the Windows ecosystem.
-Use the RGB-LED strip as a WakeUp light. This option makes the RGB-Ledstrip simulate a rising sun on a specified alarm time.
-Change the Arduino pins in the settings menu.
-Remembers settings and which devices where on or off even on shutdown with the (restore session) button.
-Easy commands like:
“Hey Cortana, please I am leaving”
“Hey Cortana, please turn Red”
“Hey Cortana, please light my room”
-Support for a IR sensor(Not tested 100%)
-Nice clear layout

The app supports multiple device like: gadgets, a RGB-LED strip, a TV and mulitple lights.
