“PersianDate” displays current date according to the Persian Calendar which is officially used in Iran and Afghanistan. It also displays the days left until “Nowrooz” that is the first day of spring and the New Year’s Day of the Persian/Zoroastrian Calendar, celebrated by more than 300 million people worldwide as the beginning of the new year.
At the end it shows current date according to Gregorian calendar (also called Western or Christian Calendar) which is internationally the most widely used calendar.
