The Basics Of World Religions And Gods Wherever you go you will find the prints of religion.
You may find that the people of distant land somewhere in South Africa have no civilization but there too you will find a praying place there.
It is in the blood of human that he believes in something superior than him.
The most believers of any religion belong to Christianity - a religion preached by Jesus Christ.

32 percent of the whole population believes in Him.
After Christianity Islam has the biggest followers who believe in Allah.
This percentage amounts to 21 percent of the total population.
Then is the Hinduism which makes 13.
26 percent of the whole population.
In Hinduism contrary to Christianity and Islam - people believe in many Gods.
To name a few Hanuman Ganesha Laskhshmi Durga and Shiva are the names of gods that Hindus staunchly worship.
The least proportion in terms of followers belongs to Buddhism which amounts to only 5.

However we categorize it as religion but Buddist do not believe in any god in terms of letter and spirit.
However all they believe is that someone who will be truly enlightened- will save the humanity from all the sufferings of the world.
And for being that ‘enlightened’ one must follow a certain devised code of conduct along with the mental discipline.
So Buddha was the ‘enlightened one’ in the eyes of Buddhism followers but not a God.
Remaining 27 percent of the populations believe in religion rarely known by the majority.
In the history of above mentioned religions something extra ordinary has always happened to which there are no logical or reasonable answers.
And such incidents that can’t be fit in the ordinary wisdom is called miracle.
And these are miracles which strengthen the one’s believe in religion.
There may be different names of God people call out for help.
There may be different places where people go to worship.
But the main concept is same and that is that - God exist and he performs miracles.

Man has remained under the influence of religion for six thousand years.
He has believed what they were told by their priests.
Anything which happened out of their understanding they labeled it as ‘Miracle’.
Miracle is normally considered something done by some supernatural personality.
In other words miracle is the direct intervention of God to make things better or worse.
If someone was perfectly healthy and died at once people thought it’s a miracle.
If someone was very sick and people thought he is going to soon but miraculously he got well - hence his getting well was termed as a miracle.
If someone escapes death very narrowly in a plane crash its also termed as miracle.
Saved by God.
On the contrary if plane was flying absolutely fine and then suddenly in time it hit the grounds- its again a miracle.
A direct intervention of God.
On the other hand there is Science which is too skeptic about the concept of miracle.
Whenever something is brought before the science as a ‘miracle’ it begins to ask a lot questions.
Miracle is to be believed with a blind faith.
However science tries to get deep in the symptoms of miracle and tries to figure out complicated questions like how and why.
[p] What Is Supernatural ? Supernatural means something extra-ordinary.
Something very giant and big that cannot be brought under someone’s control.
Supernatural is a force which needs no support or approval for doing anything.
Normally people have been referring supernatural towards God.
The definition and image of being supernatural keeps changing with the time.
