AES 256 Encryption
About AES 256 Encryption
Application encrypts and decrypts files individually or in bulk using the following standards.
• Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 256, 192 and 128-bit key size.
• Data Encryption Standard (DES) 64-bit.
• Triple DES (3DES) 192-bit.
• RC2, 256 and 127-bit.
The Application uses the Microsoft Cryptographic Engine class of the Universal Windows Platform to encrypt and decrypt files. This makes sure the encrypted files meet the applicable standards.
The recommended standard to use is AES 256-bit as one of the most secure electronic data encryption standards in use today, but you can select any of the above with the desired key length.
