With Antolin the reading raven children can increase their reading skills in a fun way. In the process, perception and word comprehension as well as reading for understanding and information are practiced. The child learns to grasp words more quickly, so that both reading fluency and reading speed increase.
The lovingly designed and fast-paced exercises also offer a lot of action and fun, so that reading training is done in passing! By playing against the time, the children are motivated to improve their high score and thereby to repeat it more often. Different speeds and difficulty levels allow each child to start according to their reading ability.

The 8 reading games promote core reading skills:
Chasing dots
A fast-moving dot is followed with the eyes, in which another letter or word appears from time to time. This exercise trains concentration skills as well as steady and rapid eye movement. At the same time, reflexive reaction and gaze jumps are practiced. This is because when reading fluently and quickly, the eyes do not move smoothly from letter to letter, but jump from one stopping point to the next.

Ghost words
A word is shown which disappears after a short time. This word is to be recognized from a selection of four words.
This exercise trains the holistic grasp and recognition of the word structure of up to four-syllable words. This enables the child to grasp words more quickly, so that the reading fluency increases.

Word pairs
From a number of word pairs, the unequal word pairs are to be recognized and tapped.
This exercise trains the reading speed of known and unknown words. The words are perceived as pictures and are not laboriously read letter by letter.

Word grid
The aim is to find the word twice in a field of letters as quickly as possible.
Depending on the level, the words are hidden horizontally and vertically or diagonally and over-corner.
This exercise trains word perception and discrimination of word pictures.

Bookworm
In a continuum of moving letters, the searched words and sentences are to be read as quickly as possible. This exercise trains the acquisition of words and word boundaries.

Picture search
In a picture the described situations are to be found and tapped as fast as possible. This exercise trains the ability to read for comprehension and information as well as the ability to relate information (from text and picture), to draw conclusions and to distinguish between important and unimportant information.

Bubbles
This exercise trains eye span, concentration, and word comprehension. The children’s eye must wander over the entire playing field, as the choices are spread out over it and constantly move. Concentrated vision and reading must be used to perceive in a short time whether the scrambled word in the balloon contains the same letters as the search word. Reading skills and abilities are thus further strengthened and improved.

Reading puzzles
In so-called logicals, the children make assignments of e.g. professions, characteristics and favorite colors to persons after reading the clues carefully.
This exercise trains comprehension and information retrieval skills as well as the ability to relate information (from several texts) to each other, to draw conclusions and to distinguish important from unimportant information.
