Baby Word is an app to introduce simpel word to babies and young children.

The idea behind the app is to associate images with spoken words or sounds.
This is done by showing growing image on the screen and at the same time play the spoken word or sound associated with the image.

The images will continue to be showed at a random sequence, to avoid the young child to adapt to any given sequence and thereby loose interest.

Upload your own images from the device and record an associated sound.
The image will be downscaled, so it doesn’t take up unnecessary memory.
Each image will be showed about 3-4 seconds, so the recorded sound should not be longer than that.
It is recommended to only speak 1 word or describing sound.

When selecting the images to be showed it is recommended not to choose to many images, as repeatation of the images is one of the ideas behind the learning of images to words/sounds. Around 5 images is recommended.
