Description
Basic Text Editor is a very simple application that reads and writes text files. It is particularly suited if you want to handle files in different encodings and character sets.

Now supports Central and Eastern European (Windows 1250) and Greek (Windows 1253) encoded text files for my Greek customers.

Supports Western European (Windows 1252) encoded text files.

Recognizes UTF-8, Unicode and Unicode-Big Endian encoded text files.

Can be used to open attached text files received by mail.
