The in-app upgrade gives you BASIC access to Bluetooth device access and IOT capabilities includes HTTP calls to cloud services! You can try out the Bluetooth abilities for free for 4 weeks; after that you can enable access using the in-app “full access” purchase. If you go beyond the free trial period, you still have access to all the abilities of the regular Best Calculator including most of the BC BASIC capabilities. After the trial period you only lose the special abilities like Bluetooth, File and Http programming.
The BASIC language can control Bluetooth BLE devices like the TI SensorTag and other Bluetooth sensors, low-level BLE calls, and access to some Bluetooth beacon data. The app includes plenty of running examples.
