o This program checks texts for plagiarism.
o It allows you to check how similar one text is to another, or find the closest text to it in the file list.
o Texts can be loaded from text files (assumed encoding is UTF-8), PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, and HTML files or pasted from the clipboard.
o It also supports extracting text from images if your system supports it. (You can set the language for OCR in the settings)
o It shows (as a percentage) how much one text matches another.
o Mathematically, this is the probability of finding all common short fragments of one text in another.
o You can set the length of such a fragment from 2 to 9 characters, the default is 8. For longer texts, it may be better to increase this value, but for some languages this value needs to be decreased.
o This works even if changes are made to the texts: some phrases are added or changed, the order of sentences is changed, etc.
o If the percentage is less than 50 for both texts, then the texts differ in content. If more, then both have much in common in content.
o If for one of the texts the percentage is more than 50, and for the other less, then the first text is part of the second.
o There are two additional settings: convert text to uppercase (default false) and perform some preprocessing of texts - replace a sequence of spaces and tabs with one space, delete new lines, etc. (by default - true).

It is very easy to work with the program. There are two options:
o You load two texts and click the “Calculate” button.
o the second option - you load the first text, and for the second, you specify a list of files from which the most similar document will be selected.
o the program tries to approximately visualize the differences between the texts (View tab).
o on the “View” tab, you can save the text of the comparison results in various formats using the context menu (right-click). - it doesn’t work in trial mode.
o the program has a free trial period.
