Description
COM-SCN is an application for “optical character recognition” (OCR), handwriting recognition, barcode reading, barcode generation, business card generation, event card and gift card.
This application is mainly intended to read the contact details of business cards, which can then be exported as vCard files that can be imported into different applications such as “MS Outlook ©” or COM-CRM.
However, COM-SCN can also be used to do OCR on any image with text. COM-SCN is able to read “QR Code” but also all the following types of bar codes: Aztec, Codabar, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Data Matrix, EAN-8, EAN-13 , ITF, PDF-417, RSS-14 (all variants), UPC-A and UPC-E. COM-SCN can generate Aztec, Code 39, Code 128, Data Matrix, PDF-417 and “QR Code” barcodes from a vCard file or from free text.
COM-SCN is read and write compatible with Android Contacts © “QR Code” barcodes.
COM-SCN is available in three languages: English, Spanish and French.
