Description
The goal of this app is to simplify corrosion potential comparisons by providing a list of metals and alloys that are found in many galvanic series tables for electrochemical potentials in flowing seawater. The app provides an estimate of the corrosion potential for the selected anode and cathode materials, as well, as the potential differences - and then estimates their compatibilities in different environments. The compatibility estimates are taken from MIL-STD-889 Rev C, Table I (2016). A red square indicates galvanic incompatibility and a green square indicates galvanic compatibility.
