Dhammapada is a free app developed by the Bhavana Society (http://www.bhavanasociety.org) for presenting stories from the Dhammapada, a compilation of stories based on Buddha’s teachings. There are more than 400 stories in the Dhammapada which are presented using a short verse and a longer narrative. This app presents a random story every time the app is launched using an easy to read page that consists of the verse, the narrative, and an illustration. The first release of the app has 200 stories. The app displays a new story when it resumes from suspension. Clicking on the top-left logo refreshes to a new story. The application provides search capabilities that allow users to find a particular story based on keywords.
