Finds contact information for Drexel University faculty, professional staff, and (optionally) students. Sign in for full access or use guest mode, which limits search results to five matches.

Tap or click a contact’s names to view more details. Use the email button to start a new message or the address button to map office locations. Use the Phone+Skype button to start conversation by phone, Skype for Business, or a personal Skype account. (Use Settings to let the app know the ways that you want it to offer to start conversations.) Tap the Copy button to copy the contact information for pasting in to other apps as plain text or a full contact.

Making the window wider shows a field to search for faculty and staff within specific departments. Use Settings to select which areas – the Academy of Natural Sciences, the Drexel University College of Medicine, the rest of Drexel – your normally search within. If you don’t find someone because they’re in one of another area, don’t change your settings, just press Enter again to look in the directories that you usually skip.

When you have more than one PC, tablet, phone, or Xbox connected to your Microsoft account, the app can extend across them all so that you can dial your Windows Phone from search results on your desktop PC, start a desktop Skype for Business chat from your phone, or have your tablet start Skype on your Xbox. It’s more cool than practical, but it’s way cool!
