Description
Drunk O Meter estimates your BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) and the time it will take your body to recover from drinking.
Actual BAC may be above or below the displayed amount. Results are estimates. The purpose of this application is to promote the responsible use of alcohol. Alcohol affects each person differently. Know your limit and take responsibility for your self. For more information, please visit www.cdc.gov/alcohol/fact-sheets/alcohol-use.htm
Drinks are assumed to contain 0.6 ounces (14 grams) of ethanol. This amount is for 12 ounces of beer (5% alcohol) 5 ounces of wine (12% alcohol) or 1.5 ounces of spirits/liquor (40% alcohol). If your drinks are different than those listed, the displayed BAC will be incorrect.
BAC is displayed as 1 gram ethanol per deciliter blood (1 g/dL = 1% = 0.010 BAC). This is the standard measure in Australia, Canada, and the USA.
