The Enhanced Patrol Experience is a Windows 8.1, Azure-driven Universal Application Portal (“Apportal”). It was designed by Bloom Consulting Group, Inc., a Redmond-based Consulting and App Dev firm, in partnership with local police officers, Microsoft Global Security, Microsoft Windows Group, and Microsoft Public Sector Group specifically for police officers to give them a glimpse of how Microsoft technology can provide a better in-car and mobile user experience.
