Description

This FactoryTalk VantagePoint KPI app allows you to visualize your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on Windows 8 devices. Regardless of your business, what you manufacture, or what you want to measure, this app can provide you quick and meaningful views of the information that is most important to you. If you have your critical information in a database, a control system, an HMI, a historian, a business system or all the above, you can use the powerful FactoryTalk VantagePoint platform to connect to those items, organize the data and provide the context to turn it into actionable information. This app now extends FactoryTalk VantagePoint beyond just the typical browser-based ways to visualize this information.

This app provides a fresh, modern UI to view your KPIs and native Windows 8 methods. Via the Share charm, you can email and add commentary for your KPIs. To find out what information is causing your KPI to be good, pretty good, middle-of-the-road, or bad (oh no!), you can drill down into detailed reports specific to that KPI. You can also switch to a geographical (map) view if you want to see your KPIs as they are reflected on a Bing Map. What would a Windows 8 app be without live tiles? An incomplete one we say, therefore in our app you can pin your favorite KPIs into different live tiles, and the app will update those tiles for you on your Start screen.

  • View updating KPIs in several easy to read formats
  • Pin KPIs to your Start screen with live tiles
  • Collaborate on KPIs via the Share charm
  • Map View allows you to see your live KPI on a Bing Map
