File Parser Start Screen. Select file type of files to be imported.
Select the files to be imported. Several files with the same columns can be processed as a batch.
Data grid opens after the import displaying the detail records that were imported. The number of records imported is displayed on the screen.
The pivot grid populates with the column headings. Drag and drop the columns to create summary reports.
In place filtering and sorting can be performed on any column.
Data can be grouped and have summaries calculated for each group.
Data grid report can be printed and exported to several file formats.
Pivot grid report can be printed or exported to several file formats.
Drill down on column data using column header filters.
Perform complex queries on the pivot table.

The File Combiner app will provide you with the fastest path to import and analyze data imported from a delimited file.

This application will allow you to import hundreds of files in one operation. The files must contain the same column headings. The imported data will automatically be displayed in a data table and pivot table. The data table will allow the user to perform detailed queries, grouping, sorting and reporting at the record level. The pivot table will allow the user to summarize data based on columns and rows from the imported files. The pivot table allows the user to filter, group, sort and report on data from a top down perspective.

Data can be exported into several formats as well emailed from the application for collaborative efforts. The advantage this tool provides over using spreadsheets is the imported files can be manipulated immediately after it is imported. There is no need to cut and paste to combine data to gather it into one repository. Files with any type of delimiter can be imported.

  • 1) Three import options, CSV, Tab delimited and Custom delimited files.
  • 2) Data Grid view allows detail review at the record level. Data consolidation, queries, summarries, reporting and exports to multiple formats can be performed with this feature.
  • 3) High level data manipulation can be performed by pivoting columns and rows. Filtering, sorting, reporting and exports to multiple formats can be performed.
  • Combined files can be exported Excel, PDF or Word formats. Other export formats are available.
