Description

This app can be incredibly useful, and is a work in progress.

At a high level, the purpose of this app is to be used as a “cheat sheet” during a music gig. It can be used to replace many paper sheets that can hard to sift through during a performance and get blown around or fall off the stand.

It contains a list of songs that you input before hand, and then will display the list of songs on the left, and simple text notes on the right side for the song currently being played.

The list of songs can be sorted alphabetically, by year, or by “number of times played”. Once a song has been played, tap “complete” and the song will be removed from the list for the rest of the gig. When starting a new gig, all songs are loaded back into the list.

Over time, the songs that are played more often are hilighted in green, while those that are played less often are displayed in red. Anything in between will be a varying shade between green to white to red.

One other very handy feature is that it can easily transpose the chords of a song on the fly…just tap the + or - buttons to go up or down. (chords must be surrounded by square braces).

I am open to feature requests and suggestions, as time permits.

  • show a list of songs
  • display simple text notes and/or chords for the current song
  • transpose chords with the tap of a button
  • keep track of which songs are played the most and least
