This software introduces a novel input concept called “Trapdoor”, which enables the launch of commands from anywhere on the desktop. The concept of “Trapdoor” is to reduce the user input to a minimum, beeing as simple and user-friendly as possible.

This software cooperates with the Windows operating system as well as third-party applications and implicitly enhances their functionality.

Imagine you are reading a document and encounter an unknown word. Just select the word and enter the “Dict” trapdoor. Instantly the translation of the word is shown in a mini dictionary view. No browsing, no googling required! And “Dict” is only one of the many trapdoors available.

A special objective of this software is to provide acoustic and visual interfaces for impaired persons.

Dict :
Select text anywhere and translate it into your favorite language. The suggested translation is shown in a dictionary style.

Cache :
Cache any objects (text, pictures, videos) in a multi-clipboard. Apply transforms and formats to cached text objects. Navigate to the origin of cached objects.

Voice :
Simulate a real person reading text to you. Start the reading from text selection, from file selection or from screen selection via Optical Character Recognition. Language packs for almost any language are available.

Search :
Search for file contents, file names and file attributes. Define regular search expressions and filter expressions. Use the guided user interface to search manually or setup automated searches. This Option is even faster than the Notepad++ search.

SearchBot :
Define custom search tasks and save them. Run your search tasks from the Windows Explorer or from Notepad++. The search notation is easy to learn. Language support is available for Notepad++.

Mindchain :
Get the logical sibling of a word, number of symbol from a text selection. Use Mindchain to save time and to avoid typing errors. This Option works in any text editor.

Eve :
Evaluate math expressions from any text selection. Just read the text selection or write the results back to the text editor.

Mirror :
Synchronize the content of large folders with high performance. The synchronization can be started from the Windows Explorer, from the Cache window or from text selection.

MsBuild :

Tivi :

Duplicate :
When a file is copied, Windows appends the string “Copy” to the name of the new file. This Option implements a more intuitive naming strategy and allows a fast way of cloning files.

Snip :
Create screenshots of windows or customized screen portions. Save the screenshots to file or clipboard.

Snap :
Select areas on the screen and save the screenshots to file, clipboard or to the Cache window.

NRun :
Run any source code directly from the Notepad++ editor. NRun automatically associates the most sensible program for running the source code file.

CollapsePath :
Shorten any text selection by replacing environment values by their names. This way you are able to simplify and generalize path names.

ExpandPath :
Expand any text selection by replacing environment names by their values. This way you are able to resolve path names for your local device.

Path :
View the PATH environment variable in a human readable format. Check the validity of environment pathes. Present the environment pathes in a text editor.

ToDec :
Convert a hexa-decimal value to a decimal value. The conversion can be started from a text selection.

ToHex :
Convert a decimal value to a hexa-decimal value. The conversion can be started from a text selection.

Enc :
Display the text encoding of any text file. No editor required.

Eraser :
Delete text lines in no time. Eraser copes with any text editor.

Comment :
Comment an uncomment lines of source code at a click. This Option smoothly interacts with any source code editor.

UWP :
Build and launch Universal Windows Apps without Visual Studio. Check a manifest file whether its App is installed on your device.

Timestamp :
