CO2 Laser suggested Power and speed settings

These settings will give you a starting point - and a general idea of what settings to use for your circumstances when laser cutting or engraving with a CO2 Laser.

Your settings may require some tweaking. Some factors to consider are ambient temperature, water temperature, tube age, focus accuracy etc. If in doubt, use the lowest power possible.

The values we use to calculate Power and Speed settings were measured by Perfect Laser on our own machines. Readings were taken with material from Cape Town. Your material may differ.
