Learning to Read with Zebra now also in Class 2
The concept was developed in cooperation with the German Primary School Didactics Department of the University of Leipzig and implemented by Bernadette Girshausen. Like the textbook, the app also follows the well-known zebra motto “Everyone in their gait”: The children can independently discover linguistic structures in 10 basic exercise types using 1000 exercises and thus learn to read and develop their reading skills. The focus in class 2 is on reading words with a special focus on syllables and word building blocks.

Syllable:
- Swing the syllables
- Make words
- Long or short?
- Special syllable compositions
- Fishing syllables
Word building blocks:
- Select root word
- Building words from word building blocks
- Composed words
- Does that exist? Read composed words
Sentences:
- Find Stumbling Words
- Correct sentences
- Fishing sentences
- Read-and-draw-Pictures
