An open-source tool to inspect and edit the color-related metadata embedded in Quicktime/Prores video files, on a frame-by-frame basis, via a simple UI.

It does so by analysing the files in a naive byte-level fashion, and keeping track of all color metadata which it finds, in ProRes frames and in the container metadata. This metadata is then shown in the UI, along with any inconsistencies or issues which have been found (such as conflicting, missing, or unknown metadata).
If necessary, the video’s color primaries, transfer function, color matrix, and creator ID can then be modified, in-place or in a new file.
