Omnibus Writer edits one paragraph at a time and hides the paragraphs after the current editing paragraph to focus your attention. Mathematical equation rendering kicks in when you exit editing mode by either pressing Ctrl-S, or pressing the checkmark button.

Omnibus Writer works just as well on phones as they do on tablets. Are you a swype guru? then you can be just as productive writing with one hand and edit the same essay or research paper you had started on your tablet previously. We offer awesome features such as Text To Speech: Omnibus Writer can read the current paragraph out loud to you (Ctrl-T), or you can have it read the entire document to you, when you are preparing for the final edit and upload. Omnibus Writer offers smart linking feature, so you can two-finger tap (or mouse double click) to any of your sources as you are editing. If you prefer PDF output, Omnibus Writer also offers Wifi sharing (just click on the wifi button in the bottom bar), where you can view the article in the browser of another device, and use a 3rd party print-PDF software. Omnibus writer offers most of what you might except from a word processor, Ctrl-B, Ctrl-I, Ctrl-U works as expected, Ctrl-F or clicking on the magnifying glass performs search. Ctrl-H gives you popup options to perform raw HTML input, Markdown render or yellow highlighting selected text. Ctrl-M renders markdown for the current line. Ctrl-R performs raw HTML input rendering. Ctrl-Y performs yellow highlighting. If you are using the software keyboard, try finding one that supports the Ctrl key and arrow keys. The menus in Omnibus Writer are mostly hidden to give you a distraction-free environment. The navigation menus can be found by swiping in from the left edge of the tablet. Most of the text to speech features can be found when you swipe in from the right edge of the tablet. To make a section heading, the markdown syntax (#, ##, or ###) offers you speed and convenience over traditional formatting menus. Simply Ctrl-M (from the end of the line) to render the heading into view.
