Over Here is a useful little app that gives you an easy way for your friends to find you in a crowd! The tablet version allows you to make a simple text sign that you can use when picking up friends at airports, bus terminals and the railway station. Gone are the days of holding a piece of cardboard. Over Here is an eco-friendly high-tech solution to a low-tech everyday scenario.

HOW IT WORKS

Let’s say you want your friend to find you in a crowd e.g. a concert arena, dark nightclub, bar etc. but it is too dark for them to spot you. Here is what you do:

1. Open the app and choose a color.

2. Once you have chosen a color, you can send it to your friend via email, Facebook etc. For example, you can send an email or tweet saying “Hey Sam, look for the tablet that will be flashing this color”

3. Your friend will get a image with the color making it even easier to find you considering we use color names like “Rojo Alien” and your friend may not get that lol!

4. Close the app.

When your friend is close by, open the app, choose the color you mentioned to your friend and the screen will blink that color. Raise your tablet over your head and be astounded at how fast your friend finds you.

Alternatively, if lifting up a flashing tablet is not your thing, you can simply make a text sign that will make you easy to spot at crowded airports etc.

Simple, but very effective!!!
