Phonic Swap is a simple skills game that is used to teach phonics. To start, the the child is given a three syllable word and three tiles (one for each syllable). The game will then read a second word and the goal is to swap the tile for the syllable that is different. For instance, Say the first two words are “CAT” and “BAT”. Then the tiles would be “C”,"A’,“T” and the new syllable/tile would be “B”. Taping the “C” will then slide the “B” into place and a new tile will appear. After 20 tiles, the tiles will turn blank forcing the child to only use the audio and tap out the sounds.
