Description

Power Query Data Refresher Pro is a tool that enables you to build an ETL (Extract Transform Load) structure using Excel’s Power Query. This is a Pre-Cloud environment and will allow you to use this structure in Power BI Data Flows.

This version will allow you to determine a folder location that will:

  1. Detect all the xlsx files in that folder
  2. Detect all the source locations referenced by each file’s Power Query M-Code
  3. Determin the dependencies in all the excel spreadsheets so each item is only refreshed once
  4. Log the number of rows extracted for each refresh
  5. Detect changes since the last refresh to the M-Code and save the new version for change control (evidence and backup)
