When you learn a new language, one of the most important aspect is the pronunciation. Even if you speak with the perfect grammar and expansive vocabulary, if the listener does not recognize the words you are saying, you will not be understood.

SayIt allows you to practice the pronunciation of the language that you are learning. You can choose the language by clicking on the FLAG and selecting one of the following supported languages.

• French
• German
• Italian
• Russian
• Spanish
• Chinese
• Japanese
• Korean

SayIt comes with several frequently used words and phrases, which can be selected by clicking on the top menu. You can also enter your own words or phrase to practice, which can be saved to your Personal List by clicking on the NOTEPAD.

SayIt includes the Dolch Sight Words in English. These are the most frequently used words compiled by Edward William Dolch, PhD. Memorizing these words is important in achieving reading fluency in English, for both native children and non-native English speakers.

SayIt also includes the Wordly Wise 3000 words in English. These words come from the popular vocabulary program developed by School Specialty, Inc. They are grouped by grade levels and provide an excellent way for enhancing the vocabulary of all English speakers.

SayIt provides the native pronunciation, which you can listen to by clicking on the SPEAKER. When you are ready to test your pronunciation, click on the MICROPHONE. Wait for the red ring to appear and then speak the words.

SayIt will provide you with feedback on your pronunciation by displaying stars. If your pronunciation is perfect, you will see FIVE stars. If not, the number of stars will indicate how close you are to the correct pronunciation. You will also see what a native speaker would interpret what you said as.

SayIt can also translate the words or phrase into any one of most of the world languages. Click on the “Translate to …” menu and choose the language you want to translate to. Click on the FISH to see what the words or phrase mean in your native tongue or any language of your choice.

SayIt will display the full list of entries when you click on the CARDS. You can then select any item in the list to jump to that entry.
