This app contains over 90 of the words that you want your kids to know for preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. Like other sight word applications, the words in Simple Sight Words come from the “Dolch” list of words, but broken down into 6 groups so that your child is not overwhelmed by setting attainable goals. Children of any age (and even their parents) will appreciate the simplicity but usefulness of the application. The free version does not speak the words, but the paid version of the application provides three different voices (girl, man, & chipmunk!) that will help your child with the words even when you are not available to help. To use, swipe back and forth for the next random/previous word, tap the audio button to change voices, tap the ‘CAPS’ button to change from lower case to upper case and back again, tap the level buttons (L-1, L-2, etc) to use different sets of words.
