SolveIT provides example collaborative assessment activities for students.

Collaborative assessments are new types of online assessments where students must work together to solve problems. Students pick a task and then use chat and interactive actions to work together on the task. When they are finished a score is awarded for both how well they completed the task and how well they collaborated together to solve the task.

Collaborative assessments are planned to be part of the PISA assessment program in 2015.
