To make recording notes and memos faster, Sound Recorder can be activated via Cortana. Just say “hey cortana - sound recorder, record memo.” The app will launch and start recording automatically.

Sound Recorder has been completely rewritten for Windows 10 UWP. If you were a user of my old original Silverlight based Sound Recorder app, your saved recordings will not carry over to the new version. Please keep this in mind before switching to this release.
