Description
As parents of a three year old, we struggled to find a quick and easy way to teach our daughter the Urdu alphabet. This struggle lead us to develop the Takhti app which is a user friendly, or we should say, CHILD friendly way to introduce young children to the Urdu language.
Takhti has a variety of features that will make it easy for your child to grasp the Urdu alphabet.
This initiative targets native and non-native Urdu speaking children to acclimatize them to the Urdu language.

Flashcards: Identify and pronounce individual letters and flip the card to reveal an image and word associated with that letter

Practice: Allows the child to trace the letter and learn how to write each letter.

Game: A multiple choice game that allows the child to select the correct letter for an Urdu word.

Word Bank: A list of the entire alphabet; the child can select a letter to reveal a list of words and images starting with that letter.
