Teacher Pay (CA) app allows you to find out what public school teachers are paid. This app is free and once downloaded from the Windows store requires no internet connection. The teacher pay and salary information is retrieved from the California Department of Education, the Teachersalaryinfo website and the school district salary documentation.
The start page of the Teacher Pay (CA) app gives the user three selections to choose from on what information to display; CA district teacher salary, CA substitute teacher pay or per state teacher salary. (CA = California)
Selecting the CA district teacher salary icon from the start page allows the user to see the California teacher salaries ordered by CA public school district name or by the county name where the school district is located. Each row contains the CA public school district name, the city where the school district is located, the county where the school district is found, the beginning teacher yearly salary, and the California Department of Education certificated teacher salaries reported by the school district (lowest and highest reported).
Selecting the CA substitute teacher pay icon from the start page allows a user to see substitute pay ordered by either CA public school district, school district’s county or substitute rate of pay per school day. Each row contains the CA public school district name, school district city, school district county and daily substitute pay.
Selecting the per state teacher salary icon from the start page allows the user to see the United States’ state name, average teacher salary and state rank ordered by either the state name (including the District of Columbia) or the state ranking depending on what the user opts for to order the information.
