It has a strobe at the top, and in case if you are stuck at a place alone, you can turn the strobe to 4 or 7 or in fact even 9 (depending upon how fast you want to make it blink) and then start the torch. The torch will instantly start flashing and will give out an SOS signal, whosoever near by sees that signal knows that someone is in dire need of help and will come to your rescue.
