Tianya community is the biggest Chinese online community, hundres of millions users are discussing all kinds of subjects there, the hot posts can have 10 millions of replies. Politics (though not all are allowed), university life, sports, literature, poem, photography, jokes… you can find everything there. By reading it you know what is happening in China, what are people talking about, how people thinks… I think Tianya is the most real China.

Personally I like the history board. Some articles there are posted to attract publishers – they are quite good quality, they will be published once a publisher noticed them. Yet they are still freely available on Tianya.

But Tianya’s official mobile APP is so-so. Since last week I can no longer login, and without logic I am not able to even view posts. So I decided to write my own – why not? all posts are available on internet and viewable with a browser. I just need extract them from the complicated HTML. So I did it and now I want to share it with you.

I will also be working on a version that will allow you to login and post an article, or reply a post. It will be available sometime.
