Control your model railroad from a schematic control panel - a map of part of your layout.Use a tablet or PC, tap or click on a switch, light or signal symbol to change it.
Turn power on/off or change direction for a district.
Monitor current or overload.
Build and edit your track maps that act as your schematic control panels.
Select from your logical devices and place them on the map.
Select static features like track and buildings and snap to your switches.
Move around as needed, tracks will snap into position with other tracks and switches.
When you've finished save and exit edit mode and, if your devices are mapped to WifiTrax controller, your ready to control everything.
Manage Logical Devices.
Create a logical device - here it's a Y Switch. It has one control point - the tie bar.
You need to map a suitable controller channel to the control point before you can operate a physical device.
Manage a more complicated device - here is a double slip switch!
It has two control points - the tie bars 1 and 2.
Each need to be mapped to a channel of a WifiTrax switch machine controller on this screen.
When you install WifiTrax controllers on your layout, you need to manage them.
The Controllers screen lets you scan your specified range of IP Addresses on your home network to find controllers and save them in your local database.
The controllers screen shows you a list of controllers found.
Select any one to retrieve details from that module.
See a list of its capabilities - make any tuning adjustments to each capability.

Control your model railroad layout using Wi-Fi!
You can use Tower Operator to build map-like control panels to display on your tablet or PC.
Add track, switches (points or turnouts), crossings to your map.
Buy WifiTrax control modules and install them on your layout.
Use Tower Operator to scan your Wi-Fi network and associate WifiTrax modules with things on your map.
Start using your control panel map to control everything just by tap or mouse click.
Please Note: This is not a self contained computer game, it requires purchase of our electronic modules on a working model railroad to be of use.

  • Control model railroad layout features: switch machines, signals, lights, power districts.
  • Build maps of parts of your layout. Use them as schematic control panels for your signal tower operators.
  • Change turnouts, signals etc by tapping on screen symbol.
  • View power consumption in each block. Detect overload - automatic shutdown.
