Description
Variant is an app for viewing your comics stored on your Ubooquity server.
On windows there are a multitude of options for reading comic books but none of them currently interface with Ubooquity server. Variant is intended to fill that niche and provide an intuitive way to access your comics. The minimalist approach means that elements will be loaded automatically in the background but more advanced features such as manually scanning the server are still available.
Currently Variant is capable of streaming comics from your Ubooquity server and keeping track of you reading process. Future versions will include the ability to pin issues and series for offline viewing, notifications for new issues in a series, automatic pinning of new issues in favourited series and adding local comic directories.

Variant is a client for the Ubooquity Server and currently requires it to be useful at all. Ubooquity can be obtained at https://vaemendis.net/ubooquity/.
