File Vault offers two levels of security. Although perfectly secure for the majority of the users with the default security level, creating a layer2 archive will ensure it will be virtually un-crackable!

The interface is very simple and intuitive. Archives can be structured in folders and custom notes can be added as well. Everything included in the archive will be encrypted and secured.
