This Webcam Motion Detector is useful to detect motion.
In the case motion is detected the app does the following 3 things

• store an image
• play an audio file (if configured to do so)
• speak a sentence that was entered by the user (if configured to do so)

Additionally a motion detection session can be scheduled, i.e. motion detection is done during a certain time range.

Use Cases

• Welcome somebody who moves into the picture by playing an audio file or letting the computer say a certain sentence
• Play a trick on someone and scare somebody by playing a loud file ;-)
• Sync the recorded images with the local OneDrive and check from remote if motion has been detected by checking for recorded images

The pictures are stored on the local disk of your computer, so you have complete control.
If you want to have them in the cloud, use the local sync folder of e.g. OneDrive or any other cloud sync service.

Please note that locking the screen or minimizing the application stops the motion detection session.
