CD Calculator initial screen. Just provide the 'Maturity Date' and Press the 'Calc' button.

I clicked on the 'Maturity Date' link, and the Maturity Date was calculated.

I used the slider bar to change the date from the Start Date (2019-11-06) to (2019-12-31).

As you can see, the APY is generated as I change the date.

About CD Calculator

CD Calculator is a Windows 10 application that computes the value of a (CD) Certificate of Deposit.

You do not have to own a CD to use this application. It is just a calculator, that will show you how much interest you will earn for a given TERM, Amount, and Interest Rate Percentage.

Using a slider bar control, you can change the “current date” and watch the CD accumulate interest.

The interest is usually compounded and added to the principal, I call this interest re-investment. So the APY is calculated using this compounded interest.
