Cider (Preview)

We’re back and better than ever!

Reminder that this app is soon to not just be an Apple Music client but rather multi platformed and is currently in EARLY ACCESS.

Let’s get some things summarized real quick, this update is a COMPLETE rewrite of Cider. Some features may not be finished or may be buggy. Performance should see a major increase and it should be significantly more efficient.

I think the most important changes with this release of Cider is the fact it no longer uses Electron, we’ve moved to a custom backend solution we think should bring the most optimal experience across the app. There are currently a few caveats to the backend right now, minimizing the app for example will cause the app to crash on random (due to Efficiency Mode, resolving it currently.) and sometimes it can play a little mean with Intel HD graphics solution.

PS. Apple Music Sing support has been added, have fun sing your heart out. (Vocal Annunciation not yet supported.)
