About Face detection and database
The app provides one click face recognition and extraction from an image or video file or attached webcam grab.
Select an image or grab and the extracted faces display on the right
The faces can all be added to the built in database with a single click (or individually). They may also be saved as individual image files
The options allow an adjustable surround to be added to detected faces and selection of image type (jpg, png, gif)
From each database record the image can be adjusted, printed, emailed or mapped
The Print ID option can produce ID badges with photo and barcode or QR codes. The app also provides the facility to edit a video file to obtain a clip
No internet or cloud access are required, the database is stored locally in unlimited XML. The settings include backup and restore options.
