GLAD Decatur

The Gay and Lesbian Association of Decatur, Illinois was formed in February of 1993. Participation in GLAD is all about equality between men and women as well as the LGBTQ and Straight community.

The mission of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Decatur is to:
Facilitate social interaction.
Provide community service.
Educate our citizenry.
Combat social injustice.
Serve as an advocate for our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Questioning, & Alliance (LGBTQA) population.
The GLAD Contstitution urges that there be a balance in the make up of the GLAD Executive Bard which oversees the organization.
