This program is an indispensable addition to the toolkit of the lawyer, claims manager or advocate advising on workers compensation claims in South Australia.

It allows practitioners to calculate potential lump sum entitlements under the Return to Work Act, 2014 (SA) (“RTWA”), including:

• Combining WPIs of multiple impairments for injuries from 30 September 1987 to date;
• Calculating Hours Worked Factor and Age Factor;
• Calculating potential lump sum entitlements under sections 56 and 58 of the RTWSA.

This program takes into account the amendments to the RTWA that took effect from 1 August 2022 and the transitional provisions under the Return to Work (Scheme Sustainability) Amendment Act, 2022b.

Using this program allows the practitioner to quickly compare and advise on different scenarios when negotiating a settlement, saving a lot of time and stress.

The prescribed sums will be updated each year, at no extra cost.
