The main window of the MDSDK DICOM Viewer consists of a DICOM data browser on the left, a visualization panel in the middle, and a collapsible details view on the right.

Data is organized in a typical Patient ➔ Study ➔ Series ➔ Instance selection hierarchy.

Bitmap scaling can be turned off to see the exact pixel boundaries of the image.

ROI contours are shown with a fixed stroke thickness, regardless of zoom level. This allows the user to see the exact location of the contour points relative to the underlying image pixels when bitmap scaling is turned off.

The details view shows the attribute values of the active SOP instance. The view is automatically updated as the user scrolls through the image set.

The user can enter a search filter to display only those attributes that are interesting. The attribute values are automatically updated as the user scrolls through the image set.

Data can be downloaded from a remote DICOM node using Query/Retrieve (C-GET only).
