You can easily pan/zoom the map to any location and the animated radar will let you know if severe weather is headed your way!
Multiple layers are available to customize the map and display data from a variety of sources.
National weather service warnings are drawn on the map. Tapping one will display the effective time and actual text of the warning.
There are different map types available as well as a full hourly and 5-day forecast.
With the weather outlooks and wind layers enabled, you can see not only predicted severe weather or snowfall, but also the current direction of the wind!
An optional hurricane upgrade will display the most recent details for tropical storms along with their current position and predicted path.
An optional per-station radar mode is available that allows you to select a specific radar station, change between reflectivity and velocity radar, and select from 3 different elevation scans!
An optional aviation map type upgrade will display VFR, IFR, and IFR-H charts for aviation enthusiasts.
Live tile will show current radar right on your Start screen! (requires remove-ads upgrade)

MyRadar is a fast, easy-to-use, weather application that displays animated weather radar around your current location, allowing you to quickly see what weather is coming your way. Just start the app, and your location pops up with animated weather, allowing you to easily see if rain is approaching. Our high-definition animated radar helps you see weather details even at the closest level!

What’s great about MyRadar is that the map is easily zoomed and scrolled around with the flick of a finger, allowing you to quickly check the weather in other parts of the country, including Hawaii & Puerto Rico!

On top of the basic weather, users can get a quick glance of temperatures around the country, as well as overlay a current satellite image of cloud cover.

Additional features include weather warnings and alerts, complete with push notifications, to warn you of severe weather in your area. Great for the start of thunderstorm and tornado season!

There’s also an optional upgrade to remove ads and activate the live tile feature. The optional hurricane tracker upgrade provides excellent details and projections for the path of storms.
