The software protects PDF files with a password and can restrict the functions for the document.
This works for individual files or entire folders at the same time.

What is the reason for this software?
It often happens that personal or confidential data needs to be sent in a PDF file. This usually happens via email. However, this data is not protected in the e-mail. It is comparable to a postcard. Alternative transmission options, such as via the cloud, usually require a link that has to be clicked. Which in turn also harbors risks.
The encrypted PDF file is a good way to transfer data securely.
Of course, there are many other use cases for protected PDF documents.
Protection of privacy:
The software saves settings in the program in order to be able to restore the original state when opening.
This applies in particular to the folder path and the selected option buttons.
These saved settings are only saved locally.
No personal data such as user names or even passwords are stored.
The software contains no advertising.
