Session Keeper

Session Keeper is a Version Control system designed specifically for musicians and the projects they create. Manually maintaining backups of your progress can at best be inefficient storage wise and worst lead to mistakes when trying to establish which backup is the one you need. Session Keeper abstracts this workflow task into a simple menu driven simple. Session Keeper will track any changes to your working project folder and store only the additional files to reproduce that version. You can quickly recover any version of your project in one step and resume your work from that point in time.

Session Keeper also employees the most advanced codec for lossless compression of your project’s audio files. The codec is based on the current ISO and MPEG-4 standards and supports a variety of audio file formats including WAV/AIFF/CAF/BWF, multichannel, as well as IEEE 32-bit Floating Point encoding.

In addition Session Keeper can optionally synchronize a copy of your backup to OneDrive. All users have at least 5-Gigabytes of storage available with their existing Microsoft Account. Additional OneDrive storage space can be purchased from the Microsoft Store, or as part of Office365 Home Edition which features 1-Terabytes of storage. Session Keeper also works for users of OneDrive for Business.
