About SiLAS : SEL Platform
SiLAS provided our students an innovative way to learn social skills which are challenging for our students to acquire. It provided our students a way to blend technology with real life practice of skills such as facing the speaker during a conversation, increasing conversational exchanges, and lengthen the time students were able to engage in cooperative play.

Teacher provides intentional, targeted instruction addressing one of SiLAS’s 30 Social Emotional skills. Tiered instruction in a whole group, small group or in a 1:1 setting.

Teachers engage learners in a variety of skill specific activities using the three principles of UDL

Students demonstrate skill acquisition through the development of written scripts used to create animations using the SiLAS platform.

Teachers have the ability to evaluate and monitor student progress through the use of built in pre/post tests and lesson objective based rubrics.
