SoundTale creates music and sound atmospheres for your pen and paper sessions. You have a great variety of sounds, ambiences and musical moods to choose from.

Please note - SoundTale is not for free, but you can download the app and try the demo or join your DMs room as a receiver for online sessions. You can get an account for windows, android or both combined. As we’re a small group of independent developers / musicians the purchases really help us to develop new content for the app.

1. Lots of music styles with great transitions

We’ve composed and produced a great variety of musical moods from which you can choose. It’s a nice evening in a tavern? Why not have a calm lute play in the background? Suddenly your sassy bard gets into a fight with the bartender - why not have some vivid fight music? Transitioning from one music style to another doesn’t cause the music to stop, instead they flow from one into another, creating a never ending flow of musical emotions that can take your game to a new level.

2. Great prepared and customizable sound environments

At the beginning we had come up with a list of 32 main environments needed for pen and paper sessions and we’ve been expanding the list ever since.
Every prepared atmosphere is ready at a click. Still, each of them can be changed in its crowdedness - you need an empty tavern or one that is crowded with lots and lots of people? No problem.

3. Easy and intuitive UI

Playing as the DM takes a lot of concentration, so getting the right music and sound should only distract you as little as possible.
We love play DnD ourselves, as players and as DM, so we’ve come up with a user interface that is easy to use and still has a lot to offer, such as customizable pages which can be prepared before the session.

4. SoundTale Receiver

Playing online can sometimes be dull as you’re not sitting arround a table looking directly into your fellow player’s eyes.
To keep your players invested in your world, you can surround them with sounds and music by inviting them to your SoundTale session via the SoundTale receiver which is included in the app.
The receiver connects your app to the player’s apps and they can even send some sounds into the session themselves.
